The Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Civic Engagement (SLICE) at Carnegie Mellon University consists of expert professionals with an outstanding ability to: cultivate relevant, one-to-one mentoring relationships with outstanding students; deeply influence the growth and development of the leaders of tomorrow; craft unique experiences building on the talents of a diverse, multifaceted community; and contribute to our Student Affairs Division whose cornerstone is a deep, sustained dedication to the ongoing care of its students.
We are searching for a detail-oriented, adaptive Project Administrator with strong prioritization and project management skills. This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. In this role, you will advance the SLICE mission through the coordination of large-scale events and programs and student services, as well as departmental marketing strategies.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Improving students' relationship with their Pittsburgh community through museum exploration and adventure recreation by coordinating Pittsburgh Connections trips and the Arts Pass program.
Facilitating students' development of self-efficacy through administrative leadership of legal services consultations and the CMU Pantry.
Preparing the next generation of global citizens by coordinating civic engagement and experiential learning opportunities such as the Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event, the Thanksgiving Basket Drive, the Whatever Drive, and voter registration efforts.
Encouraging the development of community through coordination of Almost Midnight Breakfast, Greek Awards, the student commencement speaker process, SLICE van administration, and other SLICE events.
Promoting opportunities for students' purposeful engagement by advancing and managing the SLICE brand and communication strategy.

You should be able to work outside normal business hours as occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum one year of experience working with students, program coordination, project management, communications development, or other relevant experience required.
Background clearances as required by Pennsylvania Act 153.
Must currently hold and maintain a current valid US driver's license, have a minimum of two years of driving experience, and no major driving violations within the last two years.
