The Audience Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing grassroots and niche audience partnerships, promotions and events, serves as the department’s liaison for the Scenemakers Board, manages the Goodman Ambassador program and takes a leadership role in developing new, targeted audiences for the theater.
Participate as a key member of the marketing team in Audience Development planning and execution
Develop and execute niche audience development events, when appropriate
Co-direct the Goodman’s Scenemakers Board with the development department, guiding all audience development activities
Manage the Goodman Ambassadors program, a group of advocates for the theater and new work programming
Oversee all marketing grassroots efforts, cultivating partnerships with relevant organizations, working with the Marketing Associate
Execute all marketing and outreach cross-promotions
Serve as a Goodman representative and attend meetings with key civic organizations
Oversee Concierge outreach and the Concierge Connect program
Collaborate with the Marketing Associate for college student and Accessibility Outreach programs
Provide marketing support for theater space rentals and coordinate marketing exposure for our rental partners
Serve as the primary point person for the Marketing Event Request Form process--ensuring that other departments are providing the needed information for the marketing department to support their events
Take on project management and oversight of cross-departmental efforts as needed
