CIB -Wholesale Payments - Digital Channels Product Manager (VP) - London
The Digital Channels Teamis responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization ofdigital solutions that J.P. Morgan delivers to clients globally. Theteam plays a key partnership role in driving and supporting the Treasury Servicessales strategy for large EMEA HQ corporations, and supports treasurytechnology transformation and digitisation with global multinationalcorporations and Commercial Bank clients operating in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be part of a team of experienced transactionbanking and digital technology professionals with proven expertise to consultwith clients on best practices and provide innovative complex multi-regionaltreasury transformation and optimisation solutions spanning multiple countriesand regions.
In addition, the team isresponsible for data and integration standards in EMEA, as well as providing aleading role in industry bodies including SWIFT for Corporates, EBICS, andISO20022, and ensuring J.P. Morgan is a leader in driving change andregarded as an industry expert in digitisation in EMEA.
Following significantgrowth in client focus on digitisation and bank integration across clientsegments due to reduced barriers of entry to automation and integration, andthe industry shift to innovative digital treasury solutions, the teamcovers an extensive array of responsibilities, including full coverage of theSales cycle from pre-sales to implementation through a supporting technicaladvisory role, steering and supporting the product development agendaregionally and globally, including regulatory driven programs such as LegalEntity Strategy, as well as product commercialisation, client adoption, andoptimisation.
The role requires aproficient understanding of Corporate & Investment Bank's (CIB) Core CashManagement and Liquidity solutions as well as JPMorgan's connectivity andintegration solutions for client ERP and Treasury Management Systems. The rolehas a strong technical bias and requires the ability to identify, create andpitch client-tailored strategic connectivity and functional integrationsolutions predicated on latest industry standards. Understanding of clientchallenges, industry trends, market pricing and competitive intelligence willbe required as inputs into deal strategy and the Digital Channels strategicproduct roadmap. In addition to technical advisory relating to industry bestpractice, the role will also help define strategic client processre-engineering recommendations, contribute to business case analyses forclients, and articulate the end-to-end operational efficiencies and benefits ofour connectivity and integration capabilities in delivering our globalsolutions.
A full breadth of ProductManagement disciplines will be utilised in the role, including but not limitedto:
Function as subject matter expert across core Digital Channels solutions, including Access Online, Host-to-Host, API, SWIFT and Mobile
Manage complex product development and migration initiatives
Partner with Product Management leads across the product development lifecycle serving as the voice-of-the-client; assist with concept design, feature development, and preparation for product launch and change for clients as necessary
Work directly with Treasury Sales, Commercial Bankers, and Clients to understand their needs and assist with technical integration solution design across the full suite of our digital solutions
Support Sales with client needs identification, solution recommendations and pricing
Respond to complex RFPs, non-standard information requests, and deliver product demos (over phone or in-person)
Provide training and support to Sales and business partners on new product/channel capabilities
Provide market feedback to Product Managers including new functionality needs and competitive landscape information
Engage with internal product partners to understand the impacts of changes associated with the Digital Channel Products, including new processes, tools, communications and training.
Contribute input into marketing strategy and communications plans
Represent the organization at internal and external client conferences and trade shows
Extensive experience : Treasury/Cash Management, sales or product management/development experience,
Experience and technical knowledge of Digital Channels products including; internet, host-host, API, SWIFT and mobile channels
Knowledge of cash management services and products including collections, payments, account structures, and liquidity management
Strong payments industry knowledge; consultative background around complex solutions preferred
Comprehensive technical expertise and experience in ISO 20022 and SWIFT standards across payments and cash management domains
Sound working knowledge of ERP (AP, AR and Treasury) functions and Treasury Management Systems (TMS); specific knowledge of SAP and Oracle preferred
Strong executive management presentation skills, including ability to pitch at the CFO level
Ability to understand and articulate customer needs and turn requirements into actionable solutions
Experience leading technology demonstrations
Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business
Demonstrate excellent selling and negotiation skills
Strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and cross-functional partners
Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
Travel across the EMEA region will be required.
