The Senior IT Auditor/IT Auditor is part ofthe office of Audit, Risk & Advisory Services at Vanderbilt University and isa key individual contributor responsible for executing audits and advisoryservices. This position performs audits of University IT operations, informationsecurity, and system assessments, and provides expertise regarding technicalcontrols across the institution. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director ARAS,this position collaborates among the audit team and partners with a variety ofauditees to successfully complete audits/projects.
The Senior IT Auditor/IT Auditor isresponsible for executing audits from the planning phase through the reportingphase of the audit process. Further, this position will assist management inadvisory service/consulting projects and the promotion of internal controlsthroughout Vanderbilt University.
Audit, Risk and Advisory Services servesVanderbilt's Board and management by providing independent assessments of theUniversity's governance, risk and control activities. We provide value addedservices which identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and promote arobust internal control environment.

This position does not have supervisoryresponsibility; this position reports administratively and functionally to AssistantDirector ARAS.
BachelorDegree in Information Systems, Information Technology Management, BusinessAdministration or similar field is required.
Mastersdegree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration orsimilar field is preferred.
CertifiedInformation Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor(CIA) designation is required.Pursuance with completion within two years of employment is also acceptable.
Experience and Skills
Minimumof two years of experience in IT, information security, public accountingadvisory or internal IT auditing is required. Higher educationexperience is preferred.
Experienceperforming IT audits (compliance, process, operational, etc.) is preferred.
