We are looking for a Manager, Business Development Strategy to work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN ! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but in summary, a new team is being formed to support how Premise team members communicate the value proposition of Premise Health externally. This high-profile team will be at the intersection of core sales, operations and strategy functions. At the center of the team is the Business Development Strategy Manager who will be responsible for working with cross-functional leadership to “tell the end-to-end story of Premise Health” and ensure that value proposition is captured accurately and consistently across all external growth opportunities. The Business Development Strategy Manager must demonstrate strategic thinking and strong communication skills, underpinned by the ability to juggle multiple complex tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail. What You’ll Do for Us: Owns standardized messaging within all external growth opportunities, including clarity and consistency, from start of sales process through to client kick off and continuing through duration of client relationship; works closely with Client Strategy, Direct Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize standardized messaging for each client context. Drives the overall execution, content and process for the Sales Operations team, which supports the above effort. Develops storylines for external messaging and working closely with the Sales Operations Presentation Specialist to visually represent those storylines. Understands the business as a whole and can synthesize and communicate Premise’s value proposition overall and on a client-by-client basis. Ensures that all client deliverables are on-time and accurate. Education: Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, or communications strongly preferred. Experience: 7+ years’ experience designing, implementing and executing projects involving numerous stages and stakeholders, often with minimal direction and / or constantly evolving deliverables. Experience developing and presenting analyses to executive level leadership. Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization. Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals). Knowledge and Skills: Ability to project manage multiple deliverables at once, given the number of simultaneous efforts that will be undertaken at one time (e.g., finalist presentations, request for proposal responses). Ability to thrive in a large organization required Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within teams. Superior verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization Ability to convey messaging to others for visualization Strong writing skills and content strategy a must Successful track record implementing and overseeing sales operations. Understands the evolving healthcare landscape. Independent, organized worker who is able to set priorities and manage several projects with minimal supervision.
