The Employee Communications Manager supports the development and execution of the internal communications program for State Street's branch in Poland. This position is part of the Poland Communications and Marketing team, and works alongside another Internal Communications Manager (Krakow) and a PR & Marketing Manager. It reports to the Head of Communications and Marketing for Poland.
Supports and executes against annual internal communications programs that engage employees in the achievement of Poland's local goals aligned with corporate initiatives and goals.
Supports the execution and delivery of innovative communications tactics across a variety of channels including our social intranet platform, email newsletters, video, audio, online and internal meetings and more.
Responsible for writing communications materials inclusive of articles, blogs, posters, manager toolkits, emails, briefing documents and presentations as required.
Helps manage and update the Poland intranet and enterprise social media community with relevant local news and information.
Coordinates employee events, including executive Town Halls, employee roundtables, Open Door sessions, etc.
Works with the regional internal communications team to ensure that global and regional initiatives are consistently and successfully executed locally.
Tracks and measures the effectiveness of internal communications programs and continuously makes improvements to meet communications program objectives.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with peers, local management and regional and global colleagues.
Excellent command of English (native-like proficiency level).
Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellence in verbal and written communications and story-telling.
Knowledge of communications best practices.
Solid understanding of social media, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and general computer proficiency.
Strong project and time management skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content that is interesting and relevant.
Must have experience in working confidently and effectively with senior stakeholders, including those at executive level.
Must be a highly motivated and energetic self-starter who is able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment-both independently and as a dedicated team member.
Education and Experience:
University degree, ideally in a communications-related discipline.
Three to five years of communications experience in a large, international organization, preferably within financial services
