We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Data and Information Manager.
Working with Actuarial, Risk and Finance teams to capture all data related requirements to meet project requirements
Produce business requirements and function specification, working with IT, to allow IT to carry out IT development work, and participate in Testing
Support the delivery of data compliance against the HSBC framework
Manage the effort of identifying and managing all Critical Data Elements related to International Financial Reporting Standards program
Supporting the International Financial Reporting Standards Data Management Program manager in the delivery of International Financial Reporting Standards program for Group
Ensure data and business requirements related to Financial and actuarial risk work streams are captured and utilized in the build out of data capability supporting International Financial Reporting Standards
Liaise with senior project managers, program managers and workstream leads at Group and across other countries
Engage with the overall project governance framework
Reporting against work stream scope, plans and cross work stream dependencies
Make sure the data lake construct aimed at supporting International Financial Reporting Standards delivers business value by generating needed insights from the data it stores and manages
Provide support to the Overall Program Manager in managing data and information management requirements related to International Financial Reporting Standards for Hong Kong
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Business Administration, economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
Solid working experience in Technology, Information Management, or Project Management within Insurance or Financial Services settings
Solid experience in Insurance business lines, Insurance Finance and Finance Technologies is highly preferred
Solid stakeholder management skills. Able to communicate internally and externally
Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities
Proven and demonstrable knowledge of best practice within Business Analysis standards, tooling and process
