Administer programs and processes to assure a culture of compliance within SIPC and regulatory compliance with applicable reliability standards. Responsible for training coordination of SIPC's NERC certified system operators.
Creates and manages documentation for reliability standards compliance.
Functions as a team member for pre-audit activities.
Maintains documentation to demonstrate complete and full compliance with NERC and RRO.
Serves on internal and external committees, task forces, and working groups as necessary.
Represents the Company regarding NERC and RRO compliance self-certifications and data submittals.
Monitors the regulatory activities of FERC, NERC, and the RRO.
Minimum of three years experience in a position involving creating or managing documentation, project management, electric utility planning or operations or engineering, auditing or regulatory activities is preferred.
Must be self-motivated and self-directed.
Background in auditing or regulatory with prior industry experience would be beneficial (FERC/NERC or Sarbanes-Oxley or ISA 9000).
