1) Improve existing technological infrastructure while working toward expansion of computing operations as a whole, consistent support relating to the Nanofabrication Lab, external entities, and providing support for day-to-day requests.
2) Develop and coordinate projects and initiatives, addressing issues and requests on behalf of the Deputy Dean.
3) Maximize up-time for all technological equipment to minimize disruptions and increase overall productivity.
4) Oversee and coordinate all IT initiatives and projects.
5) Ensure communication tools are functional and create secondary support systems in the event of equipment failure.
6) Assist and respond to all queries, questions, concerns, and requests on behalf of entire user-base.
7) Analyze computing systems, processes and controls to ensure that all operations are efficient and functional.
8) Drive special projects including operational improvement initiatives.
9) Establish and manage existing vendor relationships.
10 Maintain industry standards and stay abreast of new software, solutions, releases, and product enhancements.

1) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.
1) Minimum seven years of computer user support experience in resolving issues and providing a high level of service .
2) Experience regarding data management and proper protocols / procedures.
3) Knowledge of professional IT practices with a concentration on data privacy and security.
4) Experience regarding setup and maintenance of digital signage solutions .
5) Knowledge pertaining to creating and maintaining local, as well as NAS servers.
Technical Knowledge or Skills
1) Knowledge of (O365 environment, creation of domain system, etc).
