The Director of Strategic Enrollment Management and Information Technology Systems for the Colorado State University Online strategically guides, directs, grows the operational efficiencies to meet the unit goals. This position is responsible for overseeing Recruitment and Student Success unit, which includes the online enrollment and advising of students, as well as the Project Management team, and the Information Technology unit. The Director of Strategic Enrollment Management & Information Technology Systems reports directly to the to the Associate Provost of Continuing and Online Education.
Critical to this position is successfully directing the divisions of online student enrollment and advising, information technology, and project management, collaborating with external business partners, as well as faculty and administrators in Colorado State University colleges and departments to improve and maintain the integrity of the online academic experience and foster student success, to targeted programs for multiple markets and various student populations and provide the technology resources to accomplish the mission of CSU Online. This position requires the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management & IT Systems to aggregate knowledge and expertise in all programs, enabling the University to successfully deliver and sustain its portfolio offerings and their respective growth. As a visible and active representative of CSU Online, the Strategic Enrollment Management & IT Systems Director uses excellent judgment to develop credible and meaningful relationships with both internal and external academic partners. The Director will serve as a member of University committees, external post-secondary educational entities, advisory boards, and various business entities.
The successful candidate will build strong and positive working relationships with staff, unit directors in CSU Online, campus faculty and administrators, as well as external community and business partners. The Director of Strategic Enrollment Management & IT Systems will succeed in strategic planning, organizational management, change management, project planning, development, execution, and tracking based on strategic goals and key performance indicators. The Director will work both independently and in a team environment; demonstrate fiscal planning, management and budget skills; possess excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The successful applicant will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys managing and creating outstanding teams, work systems and processes that enhance and achieve revenue goals. Occasional domestic and international travel and working non-standard hours is expected. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
