Purpose of Position:
This position will deliver analysis in maintaining, developing and supporting the University IT infrastructure. It will develop skills in networking, systems, and development by supporting the University’s IT infrastructure and analyzing trends and processes to better inform IT infrastructure decision making. Additionally, the position will assist the Assistant Director of Project Management and Operations with planning, budget and supply management of all ITS projects. It will provide quality functional analysis and technical support in the requirements gathering, end-user testing, and delivery of IT solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources
Demonstrated ability to work with nontechnical staff to gain knowledge, document and analyze processes and requirements
Ability to provide leadership and oversight of teams including work on process documentation
Ability to analyze internal IT processes and stakeholder needs in order to guide stakeholders through the project process
Ability to analyze alternatives against business requirements
Ability to document projects and manage internal documentation repositories
High degree of flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changes and/or upgrades in software and procedures
Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and research solutions around industry best practices

Superior customer service skills
Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and the collaborative set of G Suite applications
Proven ability to communicate with peers on the creation of and documentation of standards, participate in unit-wide discussion of technology, and promoting the project management and governance options to customers
Significant demonstrated ability to build relationships in order to better understand customers’ business processes and strategies to enhance those business activities and ensure customer satisfaction
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or combination of education, training and/or experience that equates to a degree; Experience working with IT business practices; Experience in planning, rollout and delivery of IT systems, software and hardware; Experience analyzing alternatives in IT environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA); Certification of Capability in Business Analysis; Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CBAP), or Project Management Professional (PMP); Experience working in higher education; Professional experience in business project management or related field; Experience setting up and/or revising processes for business units; Experience managing project schedules review cycles and delivery of assets to internal and external teams; Experience with project development from inception to completion; Experience using project management, budget reporting, or other related tools and technologies.
