Position Summary: The ICAMP Digital Communication Specialist works independently to develop and maintain complex web sites and develop, enhance, and maintain the ICAMP systems and a variety of digital properties with a broad audience and with a high consequence of error. Mentors less experienced staff. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Duty 1: Develops and implements comprehensive short and long-range strategic digital communications programs and projects. Build broad adoption of the portal materials across the organization by engaging the organization in the development and use of the tools. Develop and maintain knowledge assets in web-based knowledge repository. Responsible for creating and maintaining business-system data dictionary and data-entity relationship diagrams. Duty 2: Researches, develops, and produces web sites, including content and design. Deliver a web-based end user/self-support portal experience that users rate as a strength of the product platform. Responsible for documenting cross-functional work flow processes to ensure users understand their integrated roles and responsibilities in the business-system. Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' full understanding of why/what/how to use the product. Standardize and streamline content so that it can be easily leveraged across various platforms and media. Manages the ongoing content development and maintenance of digital properties. Work collaboratively with product manager, program manager, developer(s) and users to make the product/service easier to use. Function:Content Development Percent: 25
Duty 3: Technical Writer will be responsible for planning and deploying a documentation strategy that drives customer success when using ICAMP software and services. Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation assets, including business-system user manual, how-to guides, job aides, methods and procedures, online tutorials and references, FAQs, knowledge base articles and release notes across different mediums and formats (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, website, video?). that engages users and enables their understanding and successful use of the product. Responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation materials that take complex concepts and make them easy to understand and contribute to the overall success of the product/service. Create and maintain the documentation information architecture; develop and maintain content asset management library/system; analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Responsible for quality assurance testing of documentation vs. system, identifying/reporting bugs and workflow process issues, and tracking/incorporating changes as they relate to final documentation. Support program team with training program development and delivery efforts during user experience trials, proof of concept, pilot and production; meeting tight delivery timelines with quality deliverables. Create and deploy change management communications (email, web, slides) for various audiences during product implementation. Function:Documentation Percent: 25
Duty 4: Consults with management and other professionals to develop strategic digital communication plans, programs or projects to ensure that digital communication meets the organization's needs and effectively delivers the desired message. Work with internal teams and end users to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and their documentation requirements as they relate to the overall business/system technical documentation assets. Manage the flow of information among project workgroups during development, testing, user experience trials, proof of concept, pilot and production. Function:Strategic Communications Percent: 15
Duty 5: Maintains and develops complex web sites and other digital properties with broad audiences and / or with a high consequence of error. Produce/revise documentation through the software development lifecycle (SDLC), as new issues/changes arise, and post-production as change control/governance approves platform fixes, enhancements, updates/upgrades. Gather overall documentation usability feedback from customers and program team and work to continuously improve the end-product. Maintains currency with emerging and state-of-the-art technical and other web-related technologies, requirements and developments (for example, accessibility issues) and recommends or implements actions. Provide reporting on top issues, trends, KB usage and customer feedback. Function:Maintenance Percent: 10
Job Requirements Advanced knowledge of the fundamentals of design and implementation.
Advanced skill in creating effective web sites.
Advanced knowledge of digital communication media, including content management systems and / or relevant web applications used for web site production, and organization-specific computer application programs.
