The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first H-D factory - a wooden shed - was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. Join our team as a Sr. Corporate Security Analyst.
The Sr. Security Analyst actively contributes toward the security function for one or more Harley-Davidson facilities, implementing and executing plans and procedures to ensure optimal security utilizing internal and external resources. This position supports the development of policies and procedures and administers corporate security programs (i.e. security guard operations, security awareness programs, travel security, prevention programs, etc.) to protect facilities, assets and employees. The position will lead assigned investigations, special projects, and physical security assessments.
Leadership: provide motivation, training, and standardization for security functions at Harley-Davidson sites and events. Consistent demonstration of effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Safety: daily practice of approaching work with the mindset to reduce or eliminate risk, or the exposure to risk. Zero tolerance for violation of established Safety policy.
Team Support: Coordinate, facilitate and initiate interfaces with various levels of the corporation. Provides support and training for security personnel to ensure readiness and proficiencies.
Security: provision of a secure workplace environment for Harley-Davidson assets, including people, property and reputation. Areas of responsibility within scope of this position include but may not be limited to; 1) criminal and/or special investigations, 2) physical security technology, 3) special events, and 4) project management
Investigations: lead internal criminal investigations, conduct preliminary investigations, support HR and Legal investigations upon request, and report findings to management.
Technical Operations: oversight of contracted security technology providers
Special Events: coordinate physical security and traffic/parking for designated Harley-Davidson special events
Project Management: adhere to Project Management methodology
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Demonstrated ability to be attentive to all aspects of the physical security environment in relation to the Harley-Davidson business objectives, to conform to established policies and procedures, to organize and schedule people to task and to develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability
Prior experience with corporate loss prevention/security programs, with a proven track record of implementing and sustaining comprehensive security programs
Must possess deep technical knowledge of electronic controlled access systems and informational security program.
Requires the ability to clearly and effectively present ideas and accurately document activities and effectively interact with management and employees
Ability to travel to other locations on a regular basis is required, estimated 20-30% travel. U.S. domestic travel, however, occasional international travel may be needed.
International security experience or exposure
Professional certification in related field
