Asia Pacific Middle Office team is looking for an energetic and proactive individual to support our Asian Foreign Exchange (FX) business . The role will be based in Singapore. The individual will be responsible for processing trades executed in the Asia region, attending to sales and trading queries, and liaising with various teams to resolve relevant issues. In addition, to ensure there are robust controls and reconciliations in place to verify the completeness and accuracy of trade information. The individual will be working in a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
The product coverage will include, but not limited to, all FX related products. There will be opportunities to participate in a range of regional and global projects including industry and regulatory initiatives, and in sales and trading meetings.
Trade capture, validation, and processing of cancels, amends and trade lifecycle
Allocate trades in risk management system according to clients' requests
Liaise with various support teams for escalation and remediation of relevant issues encountered
Maintain client reference data in relevant systems
Reconcile regulatory transaction reporting (TR) to ensure all APAC TR obligations are met
Attend to ad-hoc queries and requests from sales and trading
Work with different stakeholders to improve and automate existing processes and controls, with a focus on global consistency alignment and digitization (e.g. robotics)
5 years+ in middle office support experience, ideally in an investment bank environment
Candidates with experience in sales and/or trading middle office preferred
Good working knowledge of Asia local markets an advantage
Preferably has experience in FX related products
Proactive and is willing to drive changes
Good analytical skills, due diligent and attention to details
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
Able to multi-task and work in very fast-paced and stressful environment
