Qualifications REQUIRED -Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent experience. -Epic Ambulatory or Epic Clin Doc or Epic Healthy Planet certification. -Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of clinical practices and principles. -Knowledge on quality improvement concepts for both inpatient and ambulatory workflows, population health, accountable care organizations, managed care, pay-for-performance, and other industry-specific concepts and metrics. -Experience with advanced application of adult learning principles and clinical system design standards. -Experience with organizational strategies, business operations, and end-user requirements to develop system design and training projects. -Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships. -Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.) and strong presentation skills. -Experience with project management, information systems trends, and professional practice standards.
PREFERRED -Masters degree in preferred discipline is a plus (i.e. MHA, MPH). -Epic Ambulatory, Reporting Workbench, and/or Radar certifications. -Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) build and configuration. -Experience working with multiple clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development. -Experience with coordinating system development and implementation with relevant clinical operations initiatives and informatics projects. -Experience with methods and tools for systems development life cycle as related to clinical informatics. -Experience with quality improvement principles, practices, and tools into system design. -Experience with designing and monitoring technology-enabled organizational change. -Experience working in an academic institution or large integrated health system.

Responsibilities The Epic Inpatient / Ambulatory Build Analyst (Clinical Applications Professional 4) provides leadership and performs a variety of duties relating to the Clinical Information Systems applications. Responsibilities include: Providing leadership and serving as technical resource to the team; Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating clinical information systems for the organization; Participating in planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of information systems to support clinical practice and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support for all components of the program.
