As an Operations Manager for WLS, you will be responsible for the overall success of managing the team of Credit Support Specialists that provide support to Underwriters located in the Markets
Responsible for a team of Credit Support Specialists including productivity, timeliness, accuracy, performance management, career planning, development, individual training needs.
Work closely with the Credit Support Manager, Underwriters, Credit Risk Director, Data Managers, Bankers and Market Managers to ensure timely handling of responsibilities and to foster partnership amongst the teams.
Communicate frequently with credit teams. Attend Credit meetings regularly.
Actively participate in national projects related to processes, systems, and procedures.
Actively monitor documentation exception reports and past due reports. Compile and provide updates to the Credit Support Manager and Credit Risk Director.
Provide a collaborative and productive environment for all Credit Support Specialists.
Escalate issues, resolutions, best practices to Credit Support Manager.
Lead regular meetings to update staff on changes to processes, systems, procedures, solve issues, share best practices.
Effectively implement changes locally through communication with Credit Support Specialists and impacted partners.
Work closely with WLS partners to ensure all transactions are handled properly.
Proactively handle QIP and iSurvey results.
College degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8 years professional experience in commercial loan operations or a credit/lending environment.
In depth knowledge of commercial credit products.
In depth knowledge of credit and commercial loan systems.
Ability to understand complex customer structures.
Exceptional verbal, written and organizational skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
Detail oriented with ability to multi task and work in a team based environment.
A history of independent problem solving work.
Experience with managing and leading teams and projects.
Ability to collaborate with peers and upper management.
