Anderson University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty member as an Assistant Professor of Coding and App Development in the College of Arts and Sciences beginning August 2019 or January 2020. The University seeks candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
We invite candidates whose professional background and/or teaching includes programming, coding and app development, and computational thinking. Experience with integrating these skills in a variety of professional, educational, and liberal arts contexts is preferred.
Candidates are required to hold at least a master’s degree (doctorate preferred).
Maintain a 24 semester credit teaching load each year in the Coding and App Development undergraduate minor and post-baccalaureate certificate program in online and seated format
Maintain relationship with partner organizations to ensure internship opportunities
Work closely with the Center for Innovation and Digital Learning and the Office of Online and Continuous Learning
