WMCHealth Network has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Annual Giving and Communications. This position reports to the Network Annual Giving Officer (WMCHealth) and will assist in carrying out the program’s plan and goals throughout the WMCHealth Network.
Essential Duties are as follows:
Support, expand and manage third party events including third party event materials (presentations and marketing materials); check presentation attendance; set-up event Peer to Peergiving platforms; research/prospect third party event opportunities
Assist with the development of donor funding proposals and impact reports
Plan and administer the annual giving calendar and schedule of appeals to ensure deadlines are met
Oversee the foundation website and Intranet pages to ensure content stays updated and effectively increases user engagement
Manage and coordinate the development and production of the Foundation’s printed and electronic communications including, but not limited to appeal letters; fundraising collateral materials; cultivation invitations; Focus on Philanthropy e-Newsletter; and email solicitations.
Work in Raiser’s Edge database pulling lists, generating reports for appeal letter/follow up, reconciling donor/constituent data as needed
Meet fundraising and activity metrics and goal.
Assist in researching best practices and gathering other helpful data as it pertains to obtaining new and innovative fundraising ideas
Conducts associated ongoing data analysis to determine trends, results & future plans
Occasional travel to WMCHealth facilities throughout the 6,200 square-mile service area
Adhere to Foundation policies and procedures
Bachelor’s degree and three to five years related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, NetCommunity and peer to peer fundraising platforms including Blackbaud Everyday Hero, Crowdrise and others
Experience with the development and implementation of digital fundraising and donor relations campaigns (web, social media, internal/external communications, crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, auctions, etc.)
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to attend fundraising events and donor meetings
Experience in a health care setting preferred
