Qualifications REQUIRED -Certified to work clinically with patients in a mental health setting at a minimum at the intern or associate level -Proficiency speaking, reading, writing, and listening in the Spanish language -SCID reliability training with a reliability rating of .97 or higher -Management and supervisory skills and experience -Research management experience on research related to telepsychiatry/ technology in mental health -Advanced knowledge of asynchronous telepsychiatry including experience with implementation and research -Experience conducting clinical research, and academic training in clinical research principles -Experience with grant writing and submission and experience with academic and technical writing -Demonstrated ability to write and publish peer-reviewed publications as a team or individually. -Proficiency with Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, web interfaces and patient and research databases -Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds -Knowledge of child, dependent, elder abuse, and domestic violence reporting requirements, and other significant legislation and laws requiring mental health practice (e.g. Tarasoff, patient confidentiality). Ability to make appropriate interventions based on law and policy. -Direct clinical experience in the treatment of multiple diagnosed patients (mental health conditions, substance abuse, medical issues) -Experience coordinating care with service providers
PREFERRED -Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field -Knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practices for clinical research -Current Research ethics and HIPAA compliance training -Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and university regulatory requirements for clinical research and Institutional Review Board guidelines

Responsibilities The Lab Research Supervisor 2 has primary oversight of multiple large-scale clinical research study examining Asynchronous Telepsychiatry with both English and Spanish speaking patients. Involves primary project management, clinical mental health interviewing with the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM Disorders (SCID), and diagnostic rating and requires grant writing/ academic writing activities. Oversees and supervises daily project activities making sure that project goals are being met, manages provider recruitment and coordinates participating physicians and psychiatrists, clinical interviewing with patients, and maintains all study files and regulatory documents, and assists with completing IRB submissions/renewals and audits or reports to the sponsor. Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing recruiting and enrolling eligible Spanish speaking patients, entering study data, telephone interviewing and mail to participants, related study documentation.
