Position Summary: The UCOP The UCOP Strategy and Program Management Office (SPMO) develops and implements multi-year strategic planning and portfolio management methodologies, metrics and tools; assists in matters of governance, organizational alignment, process design, project and change management; and manages multiple systemwide initiatives, programs and projects.
SPMO Program Analysts use and apply advanced management skills to deliver programs and projects that involve multiple organizations and stakeholders; are proficient in supporting moderate to complex initiatives and programs; resolve a wide range of organizational issues and situations; work on strategic management issues that are diverse in scope, where analysis of situations requires evaluation of various factors; receive little instruction on planning, researching, and resolving issues, with general instructions and guidance provided on new assignments and/or more unique situations; demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Special Conditions of Employment: Travel Travel outside of normal business hours

Duty 3: Assesses medium to complex situations and works with senior leaders to address identified issues, develop recommendations, and implement solutions in alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Function:Identify & Implement Solutions Percent: 20

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
3-5 years of experience in and thorough knowledge of the management consulting field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational programs and initiatives.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, project planning, change management and implementation skills.
Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained.
Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision.
Ability to coach, facilitate, and influence.
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office suite and proven ability to adopt and implement new technologies.
Minimum two years of management consulting experience Required
