Digital Advertising Specialist - University Relations 11975
University Relations at West Virginia University is seeking applicants for a Digital Advertising Specialist (Program Coordinator NC.230). This person is a key member of the marketing team and assists with developing and implementing digital advertising campaigns across a broad range of online platforms.
In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will:
Develop cross-platform advertising campaigns as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing and others within University Relations
Create and manage Google Ad Words advertising campaigns
Create and manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc.
Create and manage other advertising campaigns on new, upcoming or relevant digital platforms
Execute re-targeting advertising campaigns and others as deemed necessary
Coordinate with others in University Relations to develop integrated advertising that aligns with the University's goals and brand
Manage budget established for digital advertising campaigns
Work with University Relations content writers to develop unique and competitive messaging to elevate brand in the market; play a role in the selection of the best visual options
Consult with University units to develop digital advertising campaigns
Conduct post-campaign analysis for all digital advertising campaigns and develop reports and best practices based on insights
Learn of the latest trends in digital advertising and develop ways the University can utilize this information in its marketing
Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
Two (2) years of related experience required in:
Developing and managing digital advertising campaigns
Using Google Analytics and other similar reporting tools
Using basic web development tools and HTML
Developing a written copy
Valid drivers license
