Program Manager - Public Health and Community Medicine, School of Medicine - (19001316)
The Department of Public Health and Community Medicine is a research and teaching department of the medical school. Our faculty currently represents a range of disciplines, including public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, medicine, nutrition, environmental health, health policy, health informatics and analytics. Our activities include community-based and clinical research on a wide-array of public health topics and the education of medical and graduate students in health-related masters' programs.
Brings substantial knowledge of graduate level education, program operations, and on-line learning as experienced in the health sciences. In collaboration with Program Director and Assistant Dean for Public Health Assists with implementing, monitoring and evaluating the MS in Health Informatics and Analytics Program. Works with the HIA Management Team to develop goals and strategies; design data management and reporting systems; manage program financial, operational, and human resources; identify new funding; and promotes program visibility to external partners. Reports out on various elements program functioning. Provides assistance to students and program faculty. Manages hiring, training and evaluation of administrative staff.
Master's degree in related discipline and 5-8 years of program or project management experience.
