How You’ll Make an Impact
The Global Compensation Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of global compensation plans and programs that attract and retain talent, drives business results, and rewards employees. In the role, you would be responsible for:
Partnering and collaborating with business leaders and HR Business Partners on compensation philosophies, programs, policies and practices. Developing solutions for compensation-related issues
Managing and overseeing executive and non-executive incentive plans globally with multiple designs and payout frequencies, including sales incentive plans. Reviewing and approving incentive accrual estimates for monthly and fiscal quarter financial statements
Managing global salary structure development, base pay programs, including the annual merit/market increase processes, recommending annual salary budgets and providing cost analyses
Overseeing the analysis of market competitiveness, global job evaluations, and salary survey selection and participation
Coordinating with HRIS the management of the global SAP Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM) system, including identification of system enhancements, testing, and incentive and merit administration
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, provincial and local regulations. Maintaining an awareness of regulatory changes and the potential impact of those changes on current and future compensation requirements
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance or related field
Minimum 10 years compensation design and administration experience within a large, multi-site global corporation (Industrial, CPG and Retail)
Business and sales incentive compensation design and administration
Base pay program (salaried and hourly) design and administration, including salary structures
Job evaluation (point factor/Hay) and market pricing
Basic understanding of domestic and international HR processes, labor law and regulatory requirements
Expert/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and HR/Compensation systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Ability to effectively manage confidential information
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills required to work with different levels of business leadership and functional teams
U.S. Passport, as minimal travel is required
Ability to work overtime periodically for project completion
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
