How You’ll Make an Impact
We need a quick learner who can become a subject matter expert in the operations of our retail environment. In the role, you would be responsible for:
Assisting in the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs, including base salary and incentive plans
Providing compensation guidance and direction to HRBPs and management regarding salary administration policies and procedures. Assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support competitive and equitable pay programs
Calculating and approving base pay increases, developing salary structures and increase guides, assisting with determining compensation budgets and costing. Assuming the lead role for VIOC service centers. Maintaining compensation ranges for stores; analyzing and maintaining geographical differentials for stores. Monitoring minimum wage legislation and updating salary ranges as needed for approval
Conducting global job evaluations with analysis and interpretation of survey data
Identifying enhancements, tests and maintains compensation systems (SAP HR)
External salary survey responses and analysis
Calculating incentive plan payments globally with multiple designs and payout frequencies. Providing incentive accrual estimates
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or finance
Minimum two years compensation experience is required within a large public, multi-site organization with 1000+ employees and/or equivalent HR experience
Working knowledge of market-pricing and point factor job evaluation techniques
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, organization and planning skills
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
What Will Set You Apart
Possessing or working towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from WorldatWork
Hay job evaluation experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Access, HRIS (SAP HR preferred), and experience with compensation administration systems
Strong process and project management skills
Knowledge of Human Resources and Compensation principles and practices
