Mason Talent Temporary Position – Administrative Specialist
George Mason University would like to invite you to apply for a temporary Executive Assistant position at the university. This is a temporary full-time position that will last for 6 weeks, with the responsibility of supporting a senior level university administrator or senior executive.

Provide daily administrative support and routine project management for a Department Senior Executive.
Extensive experience providing executive support to a senior university administrator or senior executive;
Extensive experience with calendar management;
Exceptional computer and technical skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
Ability to learn GMU systems and establish working relationships across campus;
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met;
Ability to prioritize projects and deadlines;
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse audience;
Exceptional organizational and time management skills;
Demonstrated service-oriented approach;
Must be collaborative and embrace a team-oriented environment;
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work independently and take direction from others to resolve problems, with limited supervision.
Previous experience working in a state agency or in higher education.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
