We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead Construction Systems' Building Sector business.
Regional Manager for Building Sector
You will be responsible for the development and sales organizations within the United States to achieve sales, margin, and profit objectives. You will maintain and collaborate with leaders of other functions to achieve the corporation goals.

Formula for Success: You Will...
Develop, maintain and continuously improve your business plan to execute the strategy for the Building Sector. Deliver growth and defined profitability for the Building Sector business in your Region.
Directly manage, lead and review the performance of your sales team as it relates to meeting budgetary goals, growth initiatives, innovation projects, and customer targets.
Establish and track sales targets and maintain relationships with top strategic customers.
Maintain direct contact with all major customers.
Implement and manage the Integrated Customer Strategy initiatives as they apply to the Building Sector business.
Provide a continuous overview of business results, market trends, competitive challenges and economic indicators that will affect the performance of your market area and the company.
Interface with all departments within BASF Construction Systems to continuously improve business processes and resolve issues of service, product availability and product quality for customers.
Establish and support a safety culture in which all accidents are preventable.
A Bachelor's Degree is required, an MBA is preferred.
8 years of progressive commercial management required; a strong background in sales and marketing strongly preferred.
Understanding of the construction industry and experience working with Specifiers, Distributors, Contractors, Developers and Owners preferred.
Demonstrated experience with personnel issues, solving customer problems, value drivers and how products and systems are sold into end user markets required.
Track record of success in developing strategies, implementing growth plans, and managing change in current or past roles.
Demonstrated capability of developing, coaching and leading employees to success.
Conceptual thinker and change agent; action- / results-oriented; not afraid to take-charge and communicates well up and down and inside and out of the organization.
Strong business acumen with a solid foundation for market fundamentals.
High level of tolerance for ambiguity including a willingness to take calculated risks and implement novel market approaches.
Strong skills in work-product organization, action plan development, time management, project management, meeting facilitation, relationship building (networking, team building and conflict resolution) and public speaking / presentations.
Self-motivated, customer-focused & resourceful individual with strong follow through.
Excellent communication (written & verbal), presentation, interpersonal, and people management skills.
Very good leadership skills to drive projects and motivate/lead people to success.
