ECTC is seeking a Public Relations Social Media Coordinator to provide graphic design for print and digital media, desktop publishing, social media, website support, photography, and video production for the marketing and public relations department.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build college awareness in and beyond our service region.
Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, SnapChat, YouTube, FourSquare, Instagram, Google+, Facebook, and others as appropriate and effective.
Create and implement social media marketing plan and research best ways to increase traffic.
Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes and provide feedback.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Recruitment, to coordinate promotions and increase reach.
Create engaging written and visual content for college's social media sites.
Bachelor's degree (Public Relations, Social Media, Marketing, related field) and two years related experience, or equivalent (Associate's degree and four years related experience).
Position will require working some weekend and evening hours for special events.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with technologies and best practices for social media design and production, and creative design across multiple platforms.
Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience.
