About the Position
This position supports FM Financial & Business Services with business process development/improvement and business planning support. It is a two year project position with an expected end date of June 30, 2021
As part of this position you will be responsible for:
Interviewing subject matter experts from university departments to understand and document business process utilized and associated pain points.
Creating "as-is" business process diagrams according to approved formats.
Analyzing processes and diagnoses pain points and gaps to identify business requirements and potential areas of improvement.
Supporting Facilities Management Financial and Business Services team with project management and problem solving skills to achieve required outcomes.
Creating guides, reference sheets, and standard operating procedure documents to support new and existing processes
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics or related field or equivalent education/experience
• Two years of experience related to business, management, economics or related field
• Experience in project management
• Experience in process/systems analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Experience in MS Visio
• Ability to manage schedules and maintain/meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently to meet deadlines and function as an effective member of a team.
• Demonstrated effective professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of facility maintenance/construction practices and terminology
• Experience working in a complex higher education environment
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
New hires typically start at $4,040 per month; an excellent benefits package is included.
This position is part of bargaining unit PT and is covered by the collective bargaining agreement with Public School Employees (PSE).
