ATM seeks a mid-level Water Resources Engineer to be an essential member of the Water Resources Team in our Gainesville, Florida headquarters. Technical focus areas are watershed/water quality modeling; hydrology; water resource project design, planning, and permitting; and stormwater master planning. Responsibilities include task management, project budgeting and scheduling, proposal preparation, and engagement with internal and external clients. This position is integral to ATM’s succession planning strategy and can lead to a leadership opportunity within the company.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of technical experience in:
Watershed hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling
Hydrologic studies and data analysis
Water resource project feasibility, analysis and design, with emphasis on surface water projects
Regulatory permitting (local, regional, state and federal)
Water resource planning and feasibility analyses
Public sector proposals
A graduate degree in engineering is preferred. An undergraduate degree in engineering and a Florida P.E. license are required.
