The Program Manager for Digital Engagement Initiatives is a new role and this person will be a key part of Pitt's growing Personalized Education team and Pitt's growing strategy to create enduring alumni and student networks.
The Program Manager will be responsible for helping Pitt's wide-ranging collective of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the University to get the most out of their connections and will have primary responsibility for th e implementation and ongoing coordination of the Pitt Commons platform.
The position will work on behalf of the Office of the Provost and the Division of Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement to ensure that networking and mentorship initiatives like Pitt Commons engage units across the campus in ways that are consistent with the mission and goals of the primary reporting units.
* Understanding of a higher education environment, and an ability to coordinate among overlapping but discrete populations and priorities. * Prior knowledge or experience supporting mentorship and/or networking initiatives. * Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities; a willingness to iterate as initiatives grow and change. * Strong database management skills, including ability to perform data analysis functions such as V-lookup. * Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail. * Ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team. * Previous project/program management experience a plus.
