Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School is seeking an Associate Director of Enrollment Management. HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a love of learning, respect for self and others, a faith in God and a sense of service to the world community. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and execute recruitment and retention strategies for the school. • Supervise day-to-day activities of the admissions department staff to ensure operations meet the needs of the school. • Plan, develop and execute proactive print and digital communication programs designed to engage with current and prospective families throughout the enrollment and reenrollment process using multi-channel communication strategies. • Develop data management processes to enable strategic use of internal and external market data. • Prepare and deliver presentations regarding marketing and enrollment trends. • Coordinate with stakeholders to determine enrollment capacity and target demographics. • Participate in school wide enrollment selection committee. • Manage financial aid award policies and notification process and off-cycle financial aid inquiries. • Partner with all academic divisions and the business office to manage transfer process.
Skills and Abilities
• Proven experience in a leadership position within the independent school community. • Customer-service focus with a strong aptitude for maintaining a positive demeanor in all interactions. • Demonstrated ability to review and prioritize work to take appropriate actions without advance approval, set priorities and meet deadlines while ensuring close attention to detail. • Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously employing strong project management skills. • Outstanding communication skills (written, oral, listening, and public speaking) including the ability to forge and reinforce effective relationships with internal/external constituencies. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency with CRM software applications, prior experience with Ravenna preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, social media, and e-mail applications. • Ability to travel locally and regionally.
Educational and Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with preference for a degree in education or enrollment management related field. Master’s degree preferred. • 5-7 years prior experience within the independent school setting in enrollment management department. • Certified Enrollment Management Professional (CEMP) designation strongly preferred. • 3-5 years prior experience managing and supervising department staff. • Successful completion of pre-employment background screening, drug testing and safety training required.
