Reporting to the Head of Global Business Process Management (GBPM) Internal Controls, this position supports the vision of having standardized and harmonized processes in the field of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), which includes Segregation of Duties (SoD) and ICFR services provided by the Global Shared Serviced Centers (SSCs), across the Roche Group, in order to minimize the risk of audit/review issues at the affiliates.
In detail, the position:
Supports the implementation of ICFR in the affiliates during assigned process roll-out projects, standard controls updates and ICFR onboardings of new affiliates,
Supports ICFR stakeholders, which include other BPM organizations, the SSCs and affiliates, in case of questions related to ICFR and provides timely answers and solutions,
Supports the design, harmonization and implementation of ICFR related services performed by the SSCs and supports the SSCs in case of uncertainties about the services,
Escalates quality issues related to ICFR standard controls and ICFR services performed by the SSCs and contributes to the improvement of the quality,
In general, fosters continuous improvement in the area of ICFR and related SSC services by regularly reviewing existing standard processes and controls with a questioning mind and leveraging them to any local processes and controls
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics or similar education
Professional Experience: At least 3 years
Experience in Finance/Accounting, Business Process Management and/or Risk/Internal Control Management
Experience in working with and influencing cross cultural teams
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Organizational and project management skills, especially in matrix structures considering and balancing interests of senior stakeholders from different functions
Good technical skills (e.g. detailed SAP know-how, i.e. ability to demonstrate how SAP is used to perform the standard controls)
Basic knowledge of finance business processes and compliance requirements
Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally (around 20%, depending on project-related support workload)
Please note that this position is temporary until August 2020. The primary location of the position shall be in Rotkreuz or Kaiseraugst.
