The Director of Learning & Organizational Development will lead the overall strategy, planning, design, and administration of all non-clinical learning and organizational development programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to instructional design, eLearning design, training delivery, managing learning technologies, conducting needs analysis, evaluating learning impact, managing learning programs, coaching, knowledge management, change management, performance improvement, culture, conducting assessments, advancing a learning organization, conducting talent reviews and succession planning, and optimizing 'just in time' agile learning through micro-targeted interventions . The role will lead the organizations Corporate University (Promise Academy) encompassing learning programs focused on workforce (non-clinical), leadership, and physician development, and manages a team of learning and organizational development consultants.
Qualified candidates will possess a Master's degree in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Learning, Training, Adult Education, or related field, a Doctorate degree is highly preferred; 10 years of direct experience in learning and organizational development in a medium to large company; 7 years of experience in a learning and organizational development management role; 7 years of experience designing and delivering leadership development programs; possess advanced knowledge of leadership theory and practice, and advanced knowledge and skill with leadership development facilitation, materials, and frameworks; possess advanced knowledge and skill in learning theory, adult education, and cognitive science; possess advanced knowledge and skill in organizational development, behavior, diagnosis, change, and culture; possess advanced knowledge, skill, and experience in corporate education, workforce development, career paths, career advancement, and occupational training programs; excellent analytical, problem solving, project management, instructional design, public speaking, presentation, facilitation, storytelling, coaching, writing, and communication skills; strongly prefer certification (CPLP or CPT); prefer hospital industry experience. Membership in the Association for Talent Development, or International Society for Performance Improvement, or the Organizational Development Network required.
