The Role Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a network of key media contacts by working closely with the corporate affairs teams of the bank and partners to build a strong working relationship with them to identify and create opportunities for raising the profile of the virtual bank
Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and Strategy to build investor relations, corporate communications strategy and plan. Execute the strategy and establish a favourable corporate image and branding for the virtual bank through events and media campaigns designed to reach investors, employees, industry analysts, customers, government and other stakeholders
Manage public relations and enhance our brand and visibility. Prepare and manage press release and social media messages in providing updates on corporate news and events as well as addressing major corporate issues
Build and implement internal communication plans which drive conversations and engagement amongst employees. Ensure internal and external communication strategies are aligned and seamlessly integrated
Provide support in leadership team's profile building by lining up interviews, drafting press release and media statements, speaking points for events, media FAQs and media handling
Develop a crisis communication and issues management protocol for the virtual bank
Create a robust social media tracking process. Actively track, report and neutralize any potential reputational risk issues arising on social channels
Our Ideal Candidate
Professional background and strong network in Public Relations or Communications with experience in handling corporate communications at financial or technology or multinational organizations in Hong Kong
Maturity and credibility to liaise with and influence individuals at senior levels, including senior management of the Bank
Energetic, positive and a team player with a proven track record of managing multiple external service providers to deliver to a high standard
Digitally minded and passion for technology. Tech and social media savvy in exploring different mediums or modes of communication and using audio-visual aids to achieve communication objective
Naturally curious and is adept at building a network of relationships
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment. Being focused and agile, and timely in execution
Strong communication and good written and spoken English and Cantonese
