The Program Manager of Diversity & Inclusion develops and executes a strategy that ensures diversity and inclusion are part of the fabric of the organization through our values and mission. Responsible for the co-development, implementation, and evaluation of Diversity programs, financial management including strategic planning, budgetary oversight, and forecasting. Responsible for representing our diversity and inclusion efforts extending into the community. Assists the Director of Culture Sustainment, Diversity & Engagement in delivering on the budget requirements and key strategy deliverables to the Executive Senior Leadership Team. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Possess strong curriculum skills necessary in the co-design and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Management or related fields
Three years of progressive experience working in Human Resources, Education, OE field or related field
Master's degree in related field (Preferred)
Three years of experience in diversity and inclusion or related field (Preferred)
Two years progressive experience leading teams to high performance (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

Develops and executes the development and execution of a diversity and inclusion strategy that aligns to the organization's objectives.
Establish and foster relationships with internal partners and external organizations to develop, advocate, and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and deliverables.
Collaborate with Human Resources team to facilitate and monitor the employment, retention, and unbiased progression of a diverse workforce.
Serve as performance/relationship management consultant to create awareness and educate leaders across organization on diversity and inclusion best practices and effective implementation as part of our culture.
Partner with AHS Corporate Leadership to ensure cycles of improvement and enhance diversity and inclusion tools, processes and information being disseminated to leaders.
Monitor trends and assure relevance of diversity practices and educational offerings.
Prepare and maintain reports and trends of Diversity and Inclusion accountabilities and metrics.
Assist in benchmarking and communicating diversity and inclusion industry trends and best practices.
Provides leadership for all diversity related events.
Serves as a mentor, role model, community advocate by providing counsel, resources in the areas of networking, nurturing, and service to AdventHealth and the community through involvement, collaboration, and hosting diversity-related events.
Completes assessments and reassessments, including pain scale, response to medication / interventions. Assesses for and intervenes when abuse or neglect suspected.
Performs treatments and administers medications. Anticipates needs and plan of care and responds appropriately. Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies. Interprets and verifies physician's orders correctly. Assesses and interprets data relative to patient age (all age groups) and takes appropriate action. Investigates concerns or challenges and offers suggestions for improvement / correction. Identifies patient teaching needs and utilizes opportunities for teaching. Provides thorough and concise discharge instructions.
Supports performance improvement initiatives and Clinical Best Practice / Core measures initiatives (ACS, CAP, Brain Attack, etc.)
Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs handwashing according to policy and enforces infection prevention and safety regulations.
Is a customer service champion as demonstrated by AIDET, keeping patients informed, providing information and updates to patients, apologizing for waits, demonstrating caring, compassion, & concern, demonstrating a sense of urgency, advocating for pain management, and ensuring that patients can get help at any time. Performs hourly rounding on patients to keep them informed and to ensure that the patients have call bells, pillows, blankets as needed, that care givers names are on the boards (applicable campuses), and that patient and family needs are exceeded.
May perform waived and/or non-waived Point of Care Testing. If performing non-waived Point of Care Testing, as defined in AHCA rule 59A-7.034, must have approved competency and documented proof (copy of either diploma or transcript, at the highest level of academic achievement) at the time of AdventHealthnon-waived Point of Care training.
Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department or unit.
