At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills a but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.A This role is responsible for the planning and implementation of information systems in the Hospital Based (HB) setting and facilitates alignment between hospital strategic plans driven by the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO). This role will champion and provide leadership for the implementation, advancement and optimization of all IT related clinical systems in the appropriate clinical setting(s), including the Electronic Health Record (EHR) as Centura Health evolves in providing evidence based care leveraging predictive analytics, population health management and next generation patient/customer engagement.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Doctorate of Medicine (MD/DO) Required.
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical informatics or Business Administration, or Board Certification in Medical Informatics - preferred.A
8+ years of leadership experience required.
Experience with CPOE, clinical research, and project management.
Familiarity with Epic, Microsoft Office suite, various office and business support applications, preferred.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop recommendations/solutions.
