This Quality Improvement Consultant will be responsible for:
Consulting, educating and supporting the Hospital-wide and departmental quality improvement programs
Educating and advising on methods, tools, and techniques for monitoring and assessing quality of care in the Emergency Medicine, including statistical process control.
Providing support for implementation and evaluation of Emergency Medicine's quality improvement programs and serve as project manager for designated projects.
Designing and administering customer surveys and analyzing, interpreting and presenting the results.
Working closely with physicians and nurses of the Emergency department/Emergency Medicine to ensure accurate data is obtained during project data gathering.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare management or a closely related field.
Two (2) plus years of data management experience in a clinical setting is required. Equivalent combination management may substitute.
The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based knowledge.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
