Primary teaching responsibilities, which may include teaching audio recording lectures and labs
Continuous curriculum development, including the design, revisions, and implementation of instructional materials and assessment of learner outcomes
Integration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learning
Support of the success and development of students through the use of a variety of instructional methods, available office hours, and by providing additional resources
Development and implementation of on-campus, online and hybrid courses
Availability to teach at any of our locations during the daytime, evening or weekend in order to maximize enrollment and meet the needs of our diverse student population
Contribution into department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbook selection etc
Participation in discipline, team, campus, and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional development
Support and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projects
HOURS: Core hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends.

Associate's degree in a recording arts technology program.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience in audio design, production and recording.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
The following is required by the end of the third year (6th semester) of unlimited employment.

Faculty shall have a degree in education or three years of successful full-time (or equivalent) teaching experience prior to being hired, or shall be required to complete coursework in the above content areas (or their equivalent) prior to being granted unlimited status.
