We have an immediate opening for a CRM Manager/Salesforce Administrator to join the marketing group in our Chicago or Washington, DC office.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
The CRM Manager/Salesforce Administrator will report to the marketing group’s Associate Director of Marketing Operations; the position supervises the CRM and Email Coordinator. This is an opportunity for a strategic, creative candidate to shape a brand new Salesforce org, including identifying and implementing apps and other third-party tools to meet business needs; developing new workflows to improve efficiency; and inspiring user adoption. Responsibilities include:
Serving as the Salesforce and Pardot systems administrator, including managing system configuration, user profiles, seasonal updates, enhancement requests, third-party applications, etc.
Counseling colleagues in the Marketing Department about how to utilize CRM, marketing automation, and contact management best practices.
Serving as an advocate for the CRM system and the Marketing Department throughout the firm, including onboarding new employees and providing supplementary assistance and training to employees throughout the firm.
Collaborating with marketing managers to expand NERA’s contact database and to develop custom reports for business development and event planning purposes.
Developing processes and workflows within Salesforce and Pardot to optimize efficiency and system usage.
Overseeing the integrity of the data in the CRM and setting priorities for data cleansing and database expansion.
Working with the legal department and with the Associate Director of Marketing Operations to ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and other international regulations governing data privacy.
Working closely with internal firm and parent company technology resources on software or systems upgrades, implementations, and troubleshooting.
Serving as primary contact with CRM software providers.
Staying abreast of relevant software updates, new technologies, and best practices.
Supervising and mentoring the CRM and Email Coordinator, assigning clear project priorities and ensuring appropriate professional development opportunities.
Supervise the execution, testing, and analysis of email campaigns, in addition to making recommendations to improve campaign performance.
At least 7 years of experience managing client data using a CRM system, including at least two years of Salesforce experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
Salesforce and Pardot certification strongly preferred.
Experience developing, executing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or technical field, or equivalent training is required.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and set and maintain deadlines, and to work independently and contribute to team projects.
Ability to analyze results/metrics to report on ROI and make strategic recommendations to improve future campaigns.
Ability to clearly communicate complex, technical information to colleagues at all levels within the firm.
Close attention to detail.
Advanced Excel and basic HTML knowledge required.
Possess expert knowledge of industry-standard research techniques and software.
Proactive interest in mastering new technologies.
Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.
