Responsible for supporting regulatory readiness. Provides education and on-boarding to providers.
Performs administrative and technical support for several components of the Medical Staff governance structure, to include department/committee business and credentialing support. Performs essential data collection/analyses and tracking functions to ensure compliance with risk management principles and regulatory requirements. This position has significant interactions with Medical Staff members, students, other hospital departments and various external entities.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Two to four years experience performing administrative functions, previous hospital setting preferred.
Cactus / MD Staff software experience preferred.
Effective organizational and personal communication skills including written, verbal, attitudinal and persuasion skills.
Functions successfully both within a strong team environment, as well as independently, with initiative, creativity, effective analytical problem solving.
Exercises sound discretion and professional judgment in independent decision-making.
Use tact, discretion and objectivity in dealing with confidential and highly emotional situations.
Is flexible, detail oriented and patient.
Ability to work under pressure with perseverance and fortitude.
Familiarity with computers including Microsoft Office.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
