Supervise a team of 15 responsible for BAU middle office support activities The main duties of BAU would include:
Conduct primary control over the accurate capture of the business' transactions in the Risk Management
Verify new transactions executed throughout the day against Termsheet, Sales Recap and Broker Confirmations
Ensure compliance with Regulatory standards such as Dodd Frank Reporting, EMIR, EBC Pre-Trade Disclosure and other Asia TRs
Monitor and manage trade events throughout the lifecycle of the transactions, e.g. option exercises, knock ins/knock outs, rate fixings, TARNs and barriers
Review legal confirmation documentation for accuracy vs. the Risk Management System booking
Liaise with Marketing support, downstream settlement, collateral, finance, and other Back Office control groups
Partner with Global Business middle office Heads of Credit and Rates middle office lead, and other support functions in Hong Kong & Region to develop, agree and implement key strategies.
Manage (with the Regional project team) the change agenda, including global strategic implementations, key regional/local projects.
Ensure highest level of customer service is delivered liaising closely with the Regional Client Service team for Priority clients, visits and cross asset initiatives.
Partner with Business and infrastructure teams to ensure all change and BAU activities are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with all team members. Ensure they understand and deliver on global and regional objectives, best practice and operating model.
Maintain highest control standards, including zero operational losses and compliance with regulatory targets.
Ensure FTE / resource levels and capacity are optimal to support the business, and that the budget remains within agreed for both BAU as well as Technology / Change Management costs, utilize digital tools to meet the goal if applicable.
Well organized with excellent time management skills. People management experience of 3 years or above
Solid knowledge in Credit & Rates Derivative products and end to end lifecycle
Good knowledge in various regulatory reforms such as Trade repositories requirements for Dodd Frank, MAS, HKMA, EMIR and central clearing houses like KRX, HKEX, SCH will be helpful.
Excellent control mindset with experience with dealing with audit and regulatory request
