Management of all back-office processes and ensure smooth settlement of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Korea cash equities, Hong Kong warrants, Strong oversight on off-shore back office activities.
Daily production / operational risk is to ensure controls are performed properly, and avoid operational loss, resolve stock and cash breaks, and ensure the accuracy of our internal records and ensure the development, implementation, updating and annual testing of BCP
Ensure that the operational documentation is completed and updated.
Accountable for reviewing new requirements and their outputs in relation to APTP for SG Securities (HK)'s BO activities.
Handle of ad-hoc projects. Management
Supervise and motivate subordinates to ensure that daily operations are effectively performed.
Recruitment (if any)
Objectives settings, define training needs, performance review of team members.
Governance back office activities of APTP for SG Securities HK Business support
Contribute to NPC and support new business. Cost & efficiency
Respect the budget
Explore opportunities to optimize resources and streamline the local processes to achieve productivity and efficiency gains
Assist in system implementation and UAT related to settlement, and streamline operational processes.
Contribute to projects Regulation & compliance
Provide information to auditors / regulators as and when needed
Ensure regulatory reports are prepared in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure local OPER comply with all SG rules and guidelines, and local regulations
Handle client audit confirmations.
Handle ad-hoc inquires/projects
Academic Background and experience:
University degree with a post graduate degree being advantageous
Cash Equities market & product knowledge, all APAC markets
Cantonese & English speaker
