The Communication department of Societe Generale Asia-Pacific (APAC) is ensuring:
The definition and implementation of the Communication strategy in the region (approx. 9,000 staff across 12 locations), in line with Societe Generale group communicatio's and Asia-Pacific's overall strategy and objectives;
The promotion of Societe Generale's brand, culture, values, and business expertise to its internal and external stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region across different communication channels;
The support for their communication purposes and issues of its corporate functions and business activities, principally in Financing & Advisory, Global Markets and Investor solutions, Asset Management, and Transaction Banking.
The Communication department consists of a team based in Hong Kong and dedicated teams in key regions: China, India, Japan, and Singapore for Southeast Asia. The department is structured around the following activities:

This is a 6 - month maternity cover contract, to commence in mid-August 2019. Based in Hong Kong, working under the supervision of the Head of Editorial and Internal Communications - Asia Pacific, the Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for delivering the company's various activities on its own digital media channels in Asia Pacific.
Manage and monitor Societe Generale's digital ecosystem in Asia Pacific, which includes intranet (including newsletters), internet and social media (community management on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others...) and other CMS (Digital Signage).
Publish and amplify various forms of content on our own media channels across the region with the objective in mind to grow and enhance the user experience of the audience
Continue employee advocacy initiatives to promote social media usage in the region
Manage timely production and delivery / distribution of all digital initiatives and projects
Produce regular reports on stats to reflect trends on different tools.
Day-to-day management of the vendor(s) dedicated to Digital communications. Follow-up and regular reporting on activity and impact.
Liaise with global counterparts in Paris to align with our digital communications strategy, plans and delivery
Collaborate with the other Communication team members across Asia-Pacific
Requirement (Qualification/ Years of Experience/ Skill / Knowledge)
Technical competence (essential / good to have):
Proficiency with relevant content management systems like LifeRay, Typo3
Proficiency with publishing / interacting / community management on social media
Good command of multi-media tools / programs, including photo / video shooting and editing
Ability to understand, foresee and react to different trends and developments in various digital channels
Ability to retract and analyze web stats (Google Analytics)
Familiarity with referencing techniques, SEO and other relevant digital concepts
Solid Project Management skills: ability to plan, prioritize, follow up, anticipate and measure results independently on assigned projects
Strong relationship building and adaptation skills: a team player with the ability to work with all levels of staff in all business/support functions across different cultures and locations
Proactive, dynamic and open-minded with the ability to help make an influence on counterparts to go towards a common goal
Agile, curious and forward-thinking: ability to question and revisit any action
Responsible and risk aware, to ensure systematic brand protection approach and compliance with respective guidelines
Degree qualified, ideally in Communications, Marketing and/or Multimedia studies
