We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Strategy, Engagement and Governance .
Responsible for the reporting of Management Information for Financial Crime Threat Mitigation Asia Pacific. Responsible for the management of production of MI for Asia Pacific FCTM and its sub functions in aid of the governance framework.
For Investigations reporting, including definition and enhancement of management information for the region, analysis of MI volumes and country data identify trends, themes and timely delivery of reports.
Review, design and produce accurate management information in timely manner with highlights and summary information to steer management focus.
Review and summarise country data highlighting essential information and circulate to key stakeholders.
Recommend and define appropriate KPIs and KRIs for the region
Review and maintain the department's reporting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and up to date management information is available to all stakeholders.
Direct and coordinate with different sub functions and countries in providing essential statistics and figures for Group and regional management, including operational risk management and internal audit.
Proactively supporting other FCTM sub functions and business partners to implement new initiatives and report status.
Review and identify limitations in the existing processes and explore new ways to automate and improve the timeliness of data collection.
Refine and enrich the MI production by ensuring adequate checking and validation of the MI reports production processes, identify and articulate the problems to key stakeholders to avoid the occurrence of similar problems.
Ensuring that the function continuously improves its understanding of the evolving financial crime risks at a country level and that this knowledge is rapidly applied to mitigation activities.
Communicating and escalating information on the most significant financial crime risk findings to Regional FCTM senior management and senior regional management where applicable to support and facilitate appraisal of the relevant risks and mitigation.
Actively supporting and drive intraregional initiatives to address cross border financial crime, proactively engaging law enforcement.
Working closely with the global team and functional teams to ensure that the collective targets are met, dependencies are defined and communicated within the Asia Pacific region and in country risks and issues are highlighted and mitigated where possible.
Support the Senior Manager of Strategic, Engagement and Governance in engaging with establishing seamless, trusting and mutually supportive relationships with the other components of Financial Crime Threat Mitigation, Financial Crime Compliance and Chief Operation Officer within Asia.
Experience in MI and data management, planning and project management skills and a proven track record in delivery.
Experience with organisational frameworks and strategies, preferably within a Financial Crime or Intelligence environment.
Experience with managing a team.
Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships across geographies, functions and cultures in large international organizations.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of organizational planning, resource mobilization, problem solving, influencing and delivery.
Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation in an ever changing environment.
Ability to analyze large amounts of data efficiently, draw conclusions on what the data means and actions required.
Highly effective in working with all levels of management and staff.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to manage and engage multiple stakeholders, meet their expectations, negotiate in situations of conflicting interests and influence key decision makers in a positive manner.
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Ability to use statistical packages, such as SAS, SQL, Qlikview, an advantage.
Operates effectively across cultures and in multicultural diverse work environments.
