The Manager of Auxiliary Technology Services creates and sustains Information Services in support of various auxiliary departments including, but not limited to: Housing, Dining, Conference Center and the Wildcat Shop. This position coordinates and directs the efforts of the Auxiliary Technology Services staff to ensure client needs are identified and met. The role of this position is to understand and act upon strategic goals, concepts, and projects, serving as a point of contact and increasing the visibility and effectiveness of Information Services throughout the university community.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in Information Technology; at least 3 years must be in a supervisory role.
Information technology experience or equivalent training and education, such as consulting, analyzing, designing, programming, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment.
Experience directing projects, providing customer or technical support in information technology; or administering or supervising staff in information technology analysis, system maintenance, and troubleshooting/problem resolution.
OR any combination of education and experience which clearly demonstrates the ability to accomplish the essential functions of the position.
Advanced degree in Management Information Science or other related field.
Experience with usage, administration and integration with cloud technologies.
Experience supporting revenue-generating business functions within a complex matrixed environment.
