Printing & Mailing Services is seeking a Client Relations Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Associate Director.
Printing & Mailing Services provides professional and creative guidance for the many-faceted communication pieces that OSU produces. Project elements may include print (including variable data), CD/DVD production, large format printing, and print and Web design. This department also manages both campus and off-campus mail and serves as the OSU shipping center. As more than a $5 million dollar specialized-service center, Printing & Mailing provides essential communication solutions consisting of document production and distribution services university-wide.
The Client Relations Coordinator effectively coordinates client interaction for both the department's in house digital print and mailing programs, as well as the offset print purchase program. This position will represent the department on a daily basis with both internal and external clients to provide guidance and direction to clients on their print/mail options to obtain best outcomes.
The Client Relations Coordinator will require extensive knowledge of both digital printing methods, features and uses, as well as extensive knowledge of offset printing methods, features and uses. This position will also require knowledge related to offset and specialty print ordering through a network of partner vendors.
Typically requires Bachelor's degree in field related to the discipline of the college, unit or department with professional communications and marketing experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Five (5) years of experience working as a sales or client representative in the printing industry, promoting and processing both digital and offset print services.
Three (3) years of direct client relations experience that includes representing a technical or professional service or organization.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service skills.
This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.

Ability to lift projects and packages up to 25 lbs.
Exposure to loud noises on production floor.
