Uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) fundamental concepts, practices and procedures proficiently to accomplish analytical work. Supports education, communication, and marketing of capabilities; as well as providing analytical support to both internal and external clients.
Processes, prepares, and maintains critical analytic databases for client projects.
Develops advanced specialized maps utilizing geographic and demographic information using programming, database, and graphic skills.
Extracts demographic information from various databases for use in maps or reports.
Provides support to the project and account managers on client projects.
Performs quality assurance on all products or services being developed for clients to ensure product is meeting specified requirements.
Interfaces with clients as their primary database support resource and provides those clients database support as it is related to the maintenance of their solutions.
Supports clients and internal resources in the roles of map development, geocoding, database development, database manipulation, and database design.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a major or minor in Geography or related field; or Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with training in GIS technology.
GIS Certification preferred.
Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcMap, Maptitude, MapInfo, or other GIS-related technologies required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Alteryx experience a plus.
