What this job is about:
The position is responsible for evolving, developing, and implementing branding, marketing, and communication strategy and tactics for the Alliance and its initiatives; the position will also manage the development and deployment of digital, email, and print marketing materials for all Alliance information and initiatives. This position is instrumental in increasing member awareness and engagement, presenting AAIM products and services to a broad audience, and maintaining and growing a strong brand identity.
Leads the strategic evolution and tactical implementation of a member-centric marketing strategy to elevate awareness of the Alliance, grow membership, increase attendee registration, and increase member engagement.
Generates and proposes ideas for new marketing and communication products, collaborates with teams to engage in creating such products, develops messages to support the products, and manages efforts to launch new programs.
Supports existing strategy and products while engaging in thoughtful and staged improvement efforts
Develops print, digital, and email material to support the Alliance brand, as well as its conferences, membership, member engagement, organizational achievements, and new product and resources.
Works with external vendors as needed for collateral development and message development for new business needs.
Edits and proofread materials produced by AAIM staff.
Writes and maintains the AAIM Style Manual and Alliance Branding Guidelines.
What is required for this job:
6-8 years of experience including marketing and communication strategy development and deployment, content generation for digital and print, and project and vendor management.
College degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
Foster and build relationships within all levels of the organization to develop content transfer, marketing strategy, marketing product development, and oversight.
Organized, self-directed, detail and deadline oriented.
Strong skills at developing and managing timelines and garnering content for multi-year tactical campaigns.
Significant contact with vendors to manage content, graphic design, production, and dissemination of marketing and communication vehicles.
Adapt quickly to new information, requirements, and priorities.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel 5- 8 days per year for conferences.
Advanced proficiency using MS Office required.
Experience with Informz, Higher Logic, and Associations Anywhere platforms a plus.
