Supervisor, Middleware and Application InfrastructureUnder the direction of the Manager, the Supervisor, Middleware and Application Infrastructure, is involved in providing a variety of IT services. Assignments may include database administration, application programming, IT project management, systems administration, systems and process analysis, security, solution development and maintenance, business technical support or a combination of these and / or other IT functions, such as LDAP. OminiCenter, Pingdom, Jenkins and other technologies in support of application development and operations. Provide leadership and coordination in managing the technologies. Train and mentor junior staff and students. Evaluate, test, and recommend new practices, software upgrades, new tools, and techniques. Provide oversight and leadership to support general operations.The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is responsible for supporting the IT needs of UC Irvine faculty, students, and staff. Our mission is to provide information technology leadership, services, and innovative solutions to promote the research, education and community service goals of the University.
