Business Analyst-Patient Access

Ambulatory AccessAnalytics (AAA) is looking for a business analyst to join our team of dataanalytic experts. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions inexpansive data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategicopportunities to improve patient access to care.  Candidate must have the ability to analyze multipledata sets, identify trends, and explore relationships across the data.  Candidate must be able to use advanced data and predictive modeling and analyticaltechniques to interpret key findings to leverage into initiatives that willsupport business outcomes.

1. Build, develop, and maintain datamodels, data automation, dashboards and performance metrics to support keybusiness decisions
2. Aggregatedata from different sources and perform analysis as per business requirements
3. Researchesbusiness problems and quickly understands the issues and data challenges oforganization
4. Identifies issues, gathers facts toresolve technical and operational problems
5. Proactivelymonitor performance and improvement initiatives to support elevated performance
6. Understandbusiness problems and opportunities and recommend solutions that enable theorganization to achieve its patient access to care goals
7. Applyprocess improvement methods applicable to the field and designs plans forimplementation
8. Communicate results and businessimpacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of PatientAccess Services (PAS)
9. Identifies issues, gathers facts to resolve technicaland operational problems
10. Developprograms or queries to retrieve and analyze data for projects, program, and/orreports
11. Gatherdata using data mining techniques and tools, analyze information, developconclusions, communicate recommendations clearly and work effectively withothers on a team
12. Effectivelytranslate complex data and analyses to all levels within the organization 

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of relevant experience 
• Sound problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
• Data visualization using tools such as Tableau and SAP Business Objects
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Extremely strong problem solving skillswith the ability to break down a complex multi-factorial problem into discreetsteps, determine the analytics needed to solve each step, then create outputsto help drive action
• Positive, people-oriented,entrepreneurial, and energetic attitude
• Demonstrate good team building and leadership skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Passionate about healthcare industry(Prior experience in hospitals or healthcare is strongly preferred - notmandatory)
• Process or operationsimprovement and project management knowledge
• Familiarity with complexity associated with patientaccess to care
• Epic Applications Certification/Proficiency in Cadence,Radar, Workbench, Prelude, etc
